ABOUT ARIANA

Ariana Altiery-Rivera is a Chicago-raised Latina, nonprofit professional. Ariana was raised in ministry and served as a women’s ministry leader for over ten years before expanding her leadership reach beyond her local church. She is a leader at World Vision, which is a humanitarian aid organization that partners with churches in the United States to lift communities all over the world out of poverty. Her work focuses on strategies of cultural competency and pastoral care. Outside of work, Ariana preaches and coaches women who lead ministries and travels to church conferences where she trains leaders. Ariana’s reflections have been featured in Breaking Free from Body Shame and is a contributing author to The Women We’ve Been Waiting For: A 40-Day Devotional for Self-Care, Resilience, and Communal Flourishing.
